I have no idea! I haven't gotten past step one yet! After another bump or two, I guess I have to actually do something, huh. Hmmm. Let me think about how to go about arranging this.

I too would like to throw my scat in the warren.

Yay, more bunny poop in the warren!

So far abou 12 people have expressed interest or signed on. I'll go on to step 2 (basically just handing out the order of who does what panel) tomorrow.

I went to go look at these, and I can't see them, except for the wine bottle one. Sounds like fun though, hope you guys have a blast!

I don't have access to Photoshop. What about Microsoft Publisher? Does anyone know whether that can be used for something like this?
posted by Miko 24 August | 10:27
Sure, Miko. You can edit graphics in Pub - I do it all the time for ads and stuff at work.
posted by iconomy 24 August | 10:45
eekacat, I wonder why? That's weird. Have you tried clicking on the emcee link in the left sidebar?
posted by iconomy 24 August | 10:46
Miko, anything works: PhotoShop, PaintShop, even MS Paint if you're doing simple color backgrounds and importing (resizing, cutting-n-pasting) bits of photos or old vintage art or such the way many people seem to do. I don't know much about Publisher. But, as long as you can do some art in the precribed-size panel and just roughly blend it in with the slice of the previous panel given to you, you're cruisin'!

You can do it!

eekacat, those pages are in frames... so if your browser won't accept frames for any reason, you might try appending "main.htm" to any of the addresses ico gave in the other thread, and you should see the main page with the images.

So, if the link is http://www.citrusmoon.net/emcee/emcee4/set1/ for example, try http://www.citrusmoon.net/emcee/emcee4/set1/main.htm

Other than that, I can't really figure out why there might be a problem.

umm, clicking on the emcee link is how I got there? What I get when I click on the links to the previous ones is a big empty scolling pane with credits at the end. I imagine it has to do with adblocking or some such other privacy thing. I'm seriously too lazy to do anything about it, and I like not having intrusions even at the expense of missing some things.
posted by eekacat 24 August | 11:04
There aren't any ads or any pop-ups - it's taz's personal site. It has something to do with the frames, no doubt, like taz said.

miko, I don't think you can use publisher, because you can't save things as .jpgs AFAIK - you can only save them as .pub files and then the next person won't be able to view them. Same problem using Pagemaker. Look for a copy of Paint Shop Pro! That's what I mostly use and (ahem) I've never actually paid for it.

i'm in, i think.

I use firefox and Opera, and I tried taz's fix and that worked even less well. Not a real big deal. You bunnies have fun!
posted by eekacat 24 August | 14:49
If you want to play, Miko, you can email me your panel (which you would be doing anyway) and I'll save it as a jpeg. No big deal.
