So...dolphin tacos, please?

But the Zoophiliacs say that dolphins are very intelligent, highly emotional and expressive creatures! I don't know who to believe now, the scientists or the dolphin "lovers".

What is it with the eternal battle between dolphins and porpoises?

"If they were really intelligent, they would just jump over the net because it doesn't come out of the water," he said.

Right. Because those nets can't be that far across, right?

I say the very same thing about the mambo pole I placed across the doorway of the Blind Institute.

Don't believe the lies.

Dolphins are jerks too. Just ask Susan Sarandon.

They jump through hoops only because they have been conditioned to do so for a food reward - which may suggest the brain of a single-minded predator rather than a reasoned thinker.
Unlike scientists, who produce papers only because they have been conditioned to do so for a grant reward - which may suggest the brain of a single-minded moron rather than a reasoned thinker.

No insult intended to scientists who actually have a brain.

Do I have this straight? Goldfish are smart because if you put them in a bowl they will jump out (and die horribly). Dolphins are stupid because they will stay in their healthy environment even when the chance of dying (of dehydration? I don't know why beached cetaceans die, but it's presumably not drowning).

Sure.
