This reminds me of the 15 minutes I spent in the Klamath Falls, OR, Wal-Mart shopping for flashlights. (Long story.)

I was in the sporting goods section, back near the toys, and this methed-out white couple with a paucity of teeth were standing next to a Hot Wheels display that turned out to be all Nascar replicas.

The woman said to her guy, more emphatically than I can convey here, "I can't believe they ain't got Rusty. Rusty owns the Winner's Circle."

Yeah, it's pretty amazing -- I noticed that after I moved up north, everybody here spells everything right, all the time. Damndest thing.
