Employer Advises Laid-Off Workers To Dig Through Trash To Save Money -- "Northwest Airlines Corp. advised workers to fish in the trash for things they like or take their dates for a walk in the woods in a move to help workers facing the ax to save money."

Northwest's "101 ways to save money"... item #47 says, "if you have unruly and/or ungrateful children, you might consider eating them... they are not only tender, but also an excellent source of protein. With a little seasoning, they can be pretty tasty."

Item #64 mentions something about eating your own "useless" body parts (in the event you're childless), and even includes tasty recipes such as "gall bladder boudin", "sauteed tonsils with mango salsa"... we won't even go into the "faux sausages"...

Even though it would be a headache for the region I live in I actually wish Northwest would fold. It truly is a pain in the ass airline. It keeps threatening that if the air attendants strike it would ruin the company. BFD.
