I just added some pics from today: slightly hungover bunnies tour downtown Asheville, hit a middle-eastern restaurant for lunch, go to an arts festival, and even spot a couple of familiar names here and there....

I can also attest that mike9322's scar is WAY more impressive than mine, and mgl has an exquisite elvis bust on her porch (probably why the squirrel is so taken with her nest location). I'm thankful to have some of my erroneous perceptions cleared up, like, I thought moonbird was very tall. He is normalish height, and is every bit as groovy as his name. I also thought that rainbaby was from nyc for some reason (she's not), and that mgl was short. She's not. I'm sure 'tilda thought she was in the death seat as I chauferred the gang to dinner & back. She wasn't. Although that intersection of doom was certainly quite confusing, dangerous and aptly named. BP is neither boring nor a postcard and dano is a super laid back relaxation expert I hope rubs off on me.

I made it home and crashed out by 1:00 - no traffic, no cops, 1 wreck aftermath to thread through near RTP, otherwise eventless and I didn't even have to stop to pee.

I hope nobody won the damn powerball b/c I forgot to pick up my tickets. I had my numbers and everything with me too dammit!

Time to work on my crap for Monday, but I wanted to say I couldn't have picked a better bunch for my maiden mecha meetup voyage. We are such geeks!
