The poor little thing. It'll die. A few years back there was what I thought at first glance was an albino fox in the neighbourhood. It wasn't, it was a red fox that was almost totally bald with mange. It was a pitiful sight.

My vet's garden backs onto mine, and he asked if he could put a trap in a shrubbery at the back to try and catch it. He wanted to put it out of its misery and euthenise it. We didn't catch it and I can only assume it went off into the forest to die.

Sad posts. I wish I hadn't looked.

Sciurus needs to see this. It may be living in his backyard!
