Someone bring me Jobs' head on a stick, please. Arrgh. WTF is with Apple's spam filters? Every day I get tons of spam all with the same subjects and body copy. I click the spam filter button that's supposed to teach it and it never fucking learns. Just now, after a complaint of tardiness from someone, I check the spam folder and there's fucking legit email in it! From people in my address book! Answering an email I sent them!

I hated Mail when it first came out and that hasn't changed a bit. If I need a dedicated mail client then I'll use Thunderbird.

Apple's Mail has always struck me as a piece of rushed software done because it had to be, not because they wanted to.

Yes, but the task of locating the legitimate email in your spam bin was a sleek and minimalist experience, with beautiful graphics and intuitive click-path, was it not?

The fucking hell of it is that the letter was from the band Art Brut stating they wanted to participate in my blogathon and were donating a track. Thankfully they took the initiative and just attached the track as if they hadn't, I doubt the back and forth would have got it to me by Saturday. They probably think I'm a total ass now, received the track and didn't bother to thank them.

Fucking hell.

I'm having my own woes with Hotmail, who seems to think that if I just deleted spam faster, I wouldn't be so bothered by it. Sigh.
