You can read Greg Egan because you are a programmer. The hardness of his Sci Fi does not suggest easy TV conversion. But point taken.
I wish the Matrix films had been a bit more Greg Egan and a bit less shit.

Has anyone cut together the last two films to make a watchable sequel yet?
