What new thing did you learn today? I learnt why they say STAT! in medical dramas.

They say "stat!" because if they said "stet!", the poor guy would die.

I learned not to get my thumb too close to a bulkhead door when carrying too much to keep it from slamming... ouch!

on review, it seems I learned that one before. oh well.

I learned late this morning that it's not Friday.

That wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't for all the rush laundry and packing I did late last night and early this morning as my boychild is heading for NJ. He leaves for my mother's FRIDAY after lunch in order to catch an early morning flight Sat.

D'oh.
