My Dream About Hugh Janus I went to visit Mr. Janus in my dream last night. [More:]He still lives with his parents, but that's cool, because they're multi multi squillionaires and he has a water fountain (just like the ones they have in school) in his room. His house, niftily enough, backs up on a huge museum, and his chauffeur took us there in his super cool limousine. We had a really fascinating conversation about zen and quantum mechanics, which I can no longer remember, alas, and he showed me how he can change the nature of reality. Also, he's a magician and he stole my hiking boots right off my feet. I found them later along with a bowling ball in a fountain in a room in the museum which was filling up with people in strange 1970s clothes and pink hair getting ready for a party. However he is a trickster, because he refused to return my favorite socks. Hugh, I want my socks back, but thanks for the tour of the museum, it was awesome.
That's a great dream. A squillionaire, huh?

It never occurred to me until now, but I want a water fountain in my room too.

That is totally in line with the way I picture Hugh.

And I want a water fountain, too. The Mecha Mansion shall have personal water fountains in each room, customized to the height of the occupant.

Makes sense given the personalities of the two involved.

Yay for customized water fountains!

And I forgot to add that the weirdest thing about this (to me, anyway) was that I had a dream last night about finding a pair of socks. Your favorite socks aren't mostly purple, are they, mgl? Because I had the distinct feeling when I found these socks that someone was looking for them. In case they were yours, I left them where I found them, which was on top of a telephone booth outside my local WaWa.

Customized height?

No more stooping?

Holy Crow! That's the coolest thing anyone's ever posted about nme, and here I seem like an ingrate because the shit's been hitting the fan here at work all day. What a cool dream!

I totally wish I had a water fountain now. Thanks for thinking of me, MGL.

It was a totally fun dream and in it, I was kind of amazed at the water fountain too, because it was just so logical, I couldn't understand why everyone didn't have one. Heh. The socks in question were purplish, with black cats on them, so if those are the ones, Ico, I'll try to head to WaWa tonight in the dreamtime. WaWa! I haven't seen a WaWa in years! They don't have them down here.

I hardly ever remember my dreams but the only one I can remember having about a MeCha member was about Hugh Janus, but, regrettably, I cannot publish the details of it in a family newspaper such as this.

You weren't blushing in the dream. Heh.

*rescinds blush, then*

yes, but was he wearing blush in the dream? It sets off his cheekbones just so.

What is it with Hugh and dreams? He shows up in MeCha dreams quite a lot, if you tend to read dream threads. I myself had a dream in which he appeared once. That was a while ago, but the Hugh Oracle was right. Hugh, are you astrally projecting again?
