So I was cleaning out the car yesterday--a rare thing--and I found this little model of a house that my 6-year-old had built in kindergarten. I asked him to tell me about it. "Well," Sam said, "It is our house, but I didn't know we were supposed to be making our own house at first so I made a super house!" He never listens to instructions. He proceeded to excitedly show me the features of the super house--gun turrets, a soda pop fountain, a Sponge Bob room. "And this button lets you control the undead!"

The undead? Where the hell--never mind, show enthusiasm. Wow Sam, I said, you really used your imagination.

"Yeah!" he said, "When you use your imagination you can make anything happen. You can even make the undead bring you ice cream!"

Please tell Sam that I would like to live in his superhouse and that any kid who can command the undead to serve ice cream has got to be one of the coolest kids around.
