My 7-week hiatus into the 65-degree internetless lab is over. I'm back at the regular job.

The project went well. I got some serious accolades for the code that I wrote to automate our testing. Basically, the project would have failed had I not provided the means to quickly test the insane amount of data we had. (As it was, we spent a lot of time doing nothing because the automated testing went so quickly.) Several people on the project asked for my manager's email so they can send him commendations. That's neat.

But now I'm back on the regular job, and my to-do list is quite intimidating. But it's the Friday before a four-day weekend and nobody is here so I'm taking a day of rest (for the most part) before getting back to the grind on Wednesday.
