PSA. Just because you think it's out does not mean it's out. Some patriotic young folks just set of a bunch of fireworks from the traffic circle in my street. Great fun until one guy approached "a dud". Happily no serious burns.

There are fireworks going off in my neighborhood tonight too. I'd feel better about it if I wasn't convinced it was the drunken frat boys doing it.

Which Soviet? German? rocket was it that didn't ignite, and everyone went up on the launch pad to check it out, and it went off? Many people died.
