World of Warcraft →[More:]I know several people here don't, or rarely, visit MetaFilter so I thought I'd let y'all know about a new attempt to start a MeFi guild.

The thread is here. And the list of players is here. If you don't have a MeFi account I will be happy to post your WoW info in the thread.

It may seem odd posting this here when some bunnies actively avoid the Blue, but it's not quite the same as visiting the place, eh?

I read the blue but don't post. I didn't see the post in question. I was recently talked into playing WOW. So thanks heaps. What I really want to know though, is, is there a MeCha clan?

Anyone? Beuller?

A MeCha guild would be great, Gecko, but it's less likely than getting a MeFi guild going which is already iffy. It's been tried before (starting a Mefi guild, that is) but hasn't stuck.

I started to play - I created a night elf named Celery, and made her as limp and green as I possibly could - but then the head druid asked her to kill all these poor pigs and she was unhappy, because it just seemed unfair. And then somebody asked her to join a quest, and she was confused, and the WoW genius in our house is out of town and couldn't be reached so poor Celery couldn't figure out how to talk and then this guy kissed her and all in all it was kind of a debacle.

I'd be all over it, but I can't start another MMOG - I'm entrenched in EQ2, as that's where most of my friends (and guild) migrated to from DAoC. (course, then everybody split to go play WoW. dammit.) That and my next major purchase will probably be Oblivion, when I get the money.
If anyone's on Crushbone, say Hi to Laingrath (my monk), or Thiox (my ranger).
