Also, from it I learn that they have clips on the navelcord there. In the UK presume. Weird. all we had was a bit of bandaid.

No, my second son had a clip on his umbilical cord remnant,too. We're in the U.S. This is a cute blog, but it could probably get boring pretty quickly. At least until he starts walking.

They clipped my kid's cord with one of those anti-theft things they put on merchandise. Seriously.

Essexjan, I don't blame you. Newborns are the creepy.
