1) My dad is on vacation this week and as a result the house is a mess.

2) I took the fuse out for my horn and put it in the power outlet thingy (its fuse was burnt out) so I could use a radar detector last week, and I haven't changed it back, but I should. I have wanted to honk at people so much lately, but haven't been able to.

3) Sometimes I make plans with friends and then almost immediately regret those plans and don't want to go out at all. I also complain about how I never go out and there's nothing to do. Yeah. Figure that one out.

1) I got back from university a week ago and my room is still full of unpacked suitcases and boxes.

2) I'm getting paid £50 for playing at a wedding tomorrow.

3) I'm glad that I have a job for the summer because I need the money, but really I'd just like to spend it sitting around sipping drinks with ice in and reading.

1. I have been invited to a barbecue tomorrow by a man I am strongly attracted to. I am excited about it, but I don't think he's interested in me that way. I fear I will act like a fool.

2. My shy cat, Lucy, is starting to be more confident and her personality is developing. She is very clear about her likes and dislikes and she has her own song, "The Tummy Girl Song", that I sing to her when I rub her tummy.

3. I have a very good life and am generally content.

1. I joined the Y today, and the membership lady gave me the student rate (which is about a third of the regular rate) even though I am not a student. Another woman there told me I look 20 (I'm 30). I think I'm in love with the Y.

2. The sofa I ordered when I moved here finally came, but it's the wrong one and I had to return it. When all is said and done, I will have lived here almost two months before I have comfortable place to sit (besides my bed).

3. Not having a sofa keeps me from watching much TV, which is good. Unfortunately, it doesn't keep me from goofing off online.

1. I am feeling particularly amorous tonight.

2. My husband is tired.

3. This happens too much.

1. I am supposed to work a lot this weekend.
2. I am watching too much soccer.
3. I am spending too much time on Mecha.

1. My nervous system is whacked from another weekend of shows. Two today. Aigh.
2. I want to throttle my roommate's neurotic dog.
3. I want to talk to mudpuppie.

1. I had a wonderful time playing WoW last night.
2. The mister is playing in a golf tournament today.
3. I was thinking I might go to the movies but there isn't anything playing that can't wait to be seen on DVD.

Bonus:

I thought I might go out for lunch to a regular restaurant (non-fast food). It would be my first time and I think it would be good for me. I probably won't do it.
