Another cat update. I think Whitey will be OK. →[More:]
His bilirubin is still high but is continuing to drop so his liver is slowly recovering. The rest of his blood chem is hugely improved. He is still weak but he got into a slapping match with Kitty this morning so I know he is feeling much more like himself. He is no longer yellow.

That's good to hear! Our dog, Cookie, had a swollen eye (not sure how) and we had to take her to the vet today. She's doing better (she'd better be, for a $100 vial of eye drops the size of a thimble!)

carmina, Kitty is not the problem. Whitey follows Kitty everywhere and keeps head butting him. At some point Kitty gets tired of it and they either start trying to bite each other's neck or start slapping each other. It was good to see them fight as I know Whitey is getting back some of his mojo.

Wow! Dude is definitely getting more friskie. I got some very nice Montreal smoked meat today and just decided on a late night snake. A little homemade bread, lots of meat and some hot mustard. Whitey came into the den and jumped up on my lap and nosed into my samich. He has never ever been so bold.

And yes I gave him some meat.
