We spent so much time in tenth grade drafting class playing Scorched Earth and ignoring the teacher. If only I could spend my entire day goofing off now like I did back then. Oh, wait...

Ever played Warheads? It's Scorched Earth in space, so you've got shots coming from all over, the gravity wells from planets, and the ability to jump from planet to planet (if you're lucky). Excellent little game that's good for killing 5+ min at a time. The free version's totally playable, though only for 90 days, and the registered ver. (which I don't have) opens up more weapons and the ability to mod them.

Yeah, I took a "web publishing" class in high school that consisted of Doom and Worms tournaments. Nice to know I still blow at this sort of thing :)

Little known fact: The music goes with ANYTHING. I was playing the game and mp3s at the same time, and I had the urge to do a mix of the gamemusik and Zappa's "The Torture Never Stops," so well did it go together!
