I enter contests all the time with a throw-away email addy but never win shit. HOWEVER. I just found out that I won a runner-up prize in a contest from a big pond supply place. About $800 worth of pond liner. =)

(of course I have tentative plans for my pond/stream/waterfall feature and I estimate the bulldozer work alone will cost me $1500-$2500 which I do not have to spend right now... but still, this helps)

My kids one a Nintendo 64 in a free drawing years ago. I wish we had never entered (they were video game free up to that point)...
