Vegas meetup update! →[More:]I booked my flight and hotel today. I'm staying at the Barbary Coast, which is central but not too pricey. It gets decent reviews on various tourist review sites. I arrive on 19th September, leave on 26th, and am meeting up with George's sister, who's flying in for a few days too.

Sadly, and no doubt as a reaction to this, Barry Manilow has decided to lie low that particular week and is not performing.

So, so, so, SO excited!!

The Barbary Coast is my favorite "small casino" on the Strip. Their 3 am breakfast is one of the most popular in town. Just a stone's throw from the Jockey Club too, if that is, you can throw a stone across the Bellagio pond.
