Suggestions from my Fellow Mecha DJ's and other Muzeek Lubbers? [More:]Okay, spinnahs and sinnahs, I needs' your help. As you know, I've got a jones for electronic muzeek. I play lots of it, usually the downtempo chilly stuff.

What I need from the musical masses is some beats that are good and spacy, but have more of a pulse.

Also, any guitar-heavy stuff is greatly appreciated.

Here's some signposts of bands I love to get you started:

Juno Reactor, Shpongle, Hallucinogen, Revolution Void, Bonobo, My Morning Jacket, Jane's Addiction, Guided by Voices, Robert Earl Keen, Iris Dement, Juana Molina, Nicola Conte, Emiliana Torrini, etc.

Have at it, enlighten me. Last.fm can't do it alone!

I just received Kaito - Hundred Million Light Years, and I think it might fit the bill.

I'll have more as my brain clears.

... more of a pulse ... guitar-heavy ....

I thought I was one of the last to discover them, but perhaps you have yet to hear The Mars Volta.

Ah, see, I thought I'd like the Mars Volta, but sadly, no. Not a big fan of their original incarnation, At The Drive-in, either. Weird.

I was busy dial...up...loading...methinks Electronicat might be your man. This track is actually quite different from a lot of his other stuff (it's really not what you asked for, but...). I'm at work now, but I have a ton of spacey electronic stuff at home. Patience my friend, the weekend is nearly upon us.
