Electronic music for LipstickThespian (and anyone else, of course!)

Underworld "Mmm Skyscraper I Love You"

Orbital- "Satan" (I played this once and you dug it, LT)

Squarepusher- "Cooper's World"

Elmer Bernstein- "Staccato's Theme (Meat Beat Manifesto remix)"

Oops... I meant for the songs to be behind a "more inside" link. Sorry!

Beeps is my hero! Come by IRC if you can tonight - I have the evening off from the stage and can hang out until the early hours for a change.

I also just found out about Audacity editing software - ever used it? I'm thinking of doing my own mashups! :)

No, never heard of Audacity... cool stuff?

I'll try to make it to IRC, but I've had to get up at 5:15 am every day this week for work (that's 2:15 am your time!!) so I'm a little groggy already. :P (And I get to do it again all next week... argh.)

Fie upon ye! So have I! I've gotten no more than 3 or 4 hours sleep tops all week. Come hang out and be a wild man of the woods!

Take your disco nap now, son. I'll be home around 7pm PST and threatening the airwaves of the Interent soon afterwards.

Good taste in music there BP. Underworld are fantastic. Well, until A Hundred Days Off, which didn't really grab me. I've got a bunch of their singles too - Dirty Epic/Cowgirl, Born Slippy, Dark & Long, if you want them. The first two I'd have to rip from CD, but the last is already in .mp3 form. Let me know.
Until then, here's the Underworld remix of Saint Etienne's 'Cool Kids of Death'.

On preview: Audacity is a good, free program. Recommended. If you can find it, MixMeister is pretty good too, though not free. I've made some nice mixes with it - actually made a 100 minute downbeat/dub mix .mp3 for one of elizard's parties that worked really well. Also there's Tracktion which I'm still figuring out. That's not free either, but oh well - they do have trial versions on their sites. :) Best off sticking to Audacity.

Zack! Zack Replica! Mighty Sun God! Send me your downbeat-trodden, your huddled dub music yearning to breathe deep, your whateverthefuckelse.

Lipstick! Lipstick Thespian! You got it. I just got in from hauling a ton of groceries back from the store, so you may have to wait a bit. :) I'll upload a bunch o' stuff to this thread, and if it goes off the FP before I get it here I'll start a new one.
I am also now the proud owner of a 9-pound ham. And it was only $10! yay ham.

Underworld - Dark & Long EP
1 Hall's Edit
2 Dark Train
3 Most 'Ospitable
4 215 Miles

Some things by Faithless - Dirty 'Ol Man, Insomnia (Monster Mix).

St. Etienne remixed by Paul van Dyk - Tell Me Why.

And finally, Apoptygma Berzerk doing a cover of Metallica's Fade to Black. (i love the U2's Sunday Bloody Sunday bells sample in it.)

I'll see about ripping some more Underworld, as Born Slippy is definitely a song you should have. Enjoy!
