OMG! HAMSTER! [More:]We may indeed be trashing the planet, but a few creatures are showing they can survive the worst our waste disposal systems can dish out...
Lucky little fella. Of course, the supreme irony would be if he got out of his cage, chewed some wiring and burned down the house of his rescuers.

Okay, is this his identical twin in a very unlucky family, or couldn't they get any photos of Mike so they figured, "Well, one terrified hamster looks much like another"?

Poor, plucky little hamsters. Sick, twisted students. (referring to the second story)

I like the accursed hamster family theory myself. Like the Hound of the Baskervilles, but with a modern twist: the Industrial Machinery of the Hamsters MacTavish.

If I ran an industrial shredder, I'd make damn sure it could take care of hamsters. What an embarassment.

Hamsters are curious and can get into tiny spaces. Who knew?
