Ask MeCha Girl band cover of "You Really Got a Hold on Me"?→[More:]
My better half was in a shop in Melbourne about 18 months ago and heard what she says was a girl band covering the old Miracles's number. Does anyone have an idea what it might be? Hope me, MeCha, you're my only help.

yup---it was the Supremes, i think, maybe. (definitely not Darlene Love tho, if it wasn't the Supremes)--this says yes, but there were tons of covers of that song.

Thanks, Amberglow. She thought it was something more recent, but I reckon I should hunt down the Supremes's version and see if that was it.
