Ask MeCha: Cool recipe boxes? →[More:] Do they exist? You know, no teapots, brand names, teddy bears, roosters, things of that nature. Anything cute or sleek out there? Help, please!

I have an old, plain wooden one that belonged to my grandmother. However, that doesn't help you, so may I suggest a regular index card box from an office supply store? Then you can sticker it up like an old guitar case or something.

I have a friend that couldn't find a box she liked, so she started putting them on index cards and filing them in photo albums.
