WOW. How amazing to read it from the perspective of someone who was there.

I agree with the guy about "I Am The Cosmos" being one of the most emotionally-conflicted pop songs ever. It always gives me chills.

Awesome link. I've stumbled across a couple of "oldtimer reminiscences" like this, seems like there's a book in there somewhere. Some of us actually *do* care that Motown monitored with Altec 605A speaks, or the Big Starr vox were done with a Neumann U47, or how EVH got that brown sound.
