Three unrelated items [More:]ok, four. Because one is "Hi!" I think mike9322 and I both have a case of the busies.

Anyway, to the triad.

1. The new Tool album is amazing.

2. For those of you who have to work on several different projects at the same time, how do you manage all the different paperwork? Three-ring binders are too bulky, file folders don't offer any organizational options, and using a multitude of notebooks results in too much clutter. Help me keep track of my shit!

3. Lambaste me all you like, but I fuckin love the Dixie Chicks.

The Dixie Chicks' music is okay, nothing more. Their politics I am sympathetic with. Their style is not to my taste.

3. I don't know any of their music, but I admire their willingness to take a stand even if it alienates some of their fanbase. I also think that Natalie Maines is really sexy and I wish I looked like her. Maybe with a little bit longer neck. Girlfriend needs some neck.

2. I love my clear accordian folder. It totally rules, and I am the world's most disorganized person. I can't recall the brand name but I'll check it when I go home for lunch. I bought it at the supermarket. wickee

Cool ico, thanks.

I go better with a nice Syrah. :)

I like the Dixie Chicks' music a lot and I admire their spunk in standing up to Bush, and it's to our advantage politically to have artists with populist appeal on our side. And "Wide Open Spaces," is a great song.

And I picture tr33 tasting best with a nice lager, but that's just me.

(tr33, heh. When I used to walk through Verdi Square back in the late 80's, all the dealers would hail me by "Slim," or sometimes "Tree." They joys of being tall and skinny...)

Couldn't have put it better myself.

I myself am on a Dixie Chick kick currently. I made fun of them when they first got big, but now I really like them.

1. Hmm, will have to check it out.
2. Scrap paper - but I transfer the relevant details into a lab book and/or electronic text/data of the appropriate source in folders related to each project and with every dated (year/mo/day so the operating system can efficiently sort files by date). Of course, everything electronic is cross referenced to analogue and vice versa.
3. Well, I like Garbage.
