Okay, silly bunny, 'fess up. Who submitted us to the heavy metal site? [More:]

We are now a recommended web site from Caustic Truths (site). Look here, under "Heavy Metal Label"; click "Relapse" and go down to #71. I think if we would have tried a little harder, we could have been listed under "Punk Label".
I only know this because they sent me an email saying we were listed...

Probably from the sketchpad last night.

It wasn't me. Wolfdog, maybe?

ooh-ooh! I think I've figured it out! I bet somebody from there was googling something, came across some (probably jonmc) comment related to the subject of their search, and misread our name as METALCHAT!!!! I'm so sure this is true. Caustically true.

Priest are great, but Maiden's better. So're Raven, Slayer, & Jag Panzer.

Let me be the first MetalChat poster to nominate Warren DiMartini for rock god of all time.
posted by Hugh Janus 30 May | 12:16
No way. Steve Harris has that job.

Wait, so I can wear my Yngwie shirt with pride now?

Dio asked DiMartini to play on a 2003 tour, but Warren refused, citing "creative differences." Creative differences with Ronnie James Motherfucking Dio? How cool is that?

Now you've unleashed the fucking fury! ;>

As evidenced above, we do, on occasion, metalchat.

1. It wasn't me, but I'm certainly amused.

2. rock metal god of all time I have thought about this and I believe that it's actually this guy. Besides writing the greatest anthem of heavy metal, he wrote two of the finest odes to heavy metal. And unlike Dio, Harris, and Dickenson, let alone yngwie, for heaven's sake he's a hell of a nice guy.
Geezer Butler is the #2 man.

Whoa!

It could only be better if one those guys was wearing a merkin, and ceiling cat was in there somewhere.

Your metal knowledge never ceases to amaze me Wolfdog.

I support Lemmy as rock god.
"Balls to the Wall" as greatest metal song evar.

Metalchat!!! RWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

*Goes to an Oxbow show, hurls Jack Daniels Bottle at the stage*
posted by Fuzzy Monster 30 May | 15:04
black8: I'm with you on Lemmy, but the greatest Metal song ever is either "Runnin' Free," or "Carry On." (Manowar, not fucking Kansas)
