It has been a total loss. I had planned it all so well and nothing worked. Nothing! Including me. Can we just replay this weekend?

It is too hot to be in the NY city today.

and what the hell is this virus that I got? Maybe I am patient zero of something deadly. Or something very uncomfortable (too much drama).

I'm not working. In fact this may be the most decadent weekend of my life. I've maneged to indulge in excessive drinking, gratuitous nudity, wild sex, fatty foods, and reckless gambling, all in a 3 1/2 day period. I'm right proud, dagummit.

throw in illegal substances, too. wouldn't want to leave anything out. I also looked a lot of porn, shot pool, and listend to music of questionable influence.

also, for the first time in my life, I used a free sample of a grooming product; Axe Snake Peel body wash that came with a DVD we bought somewhere. It made me smell nice, so I bought some more. whether this is evidence of further decadence, time will tell.

matildaben, was the new X-Men movie worth a crap? I hate that they handed it off to another director... didn't Hollywood learn anything from the awful Scream 3?

Actually it was the writer and not the director who bailed out on Scream 3... it was such a disappointment after the first two brilliant installments that I almost forgot who was to blame. Argh.

I saw the X-Men (because i didn't have to pay for it), but i use to read the comic so part of me kept being astounded at the mishmash puzzle they put together.
It's definitely got action, i'll say that. Stuff just keeps happening.
Stay 'til the very end of the credits, if you like. a little something there.

I'm watching Tony Bourdain go to some Bollywood birthday in India.

The day started with that bicep popping groin injection footage on mefi, so it was only up from there.

XMen III did not suck, was not great. It's a mishmash, but some of the acting rises above.
