29 May 2006

It's a grey day in Portland [More:]So I give you some music to commemorate such an odd event:

The Static Age - It Never Seems To Last
The Changelings - Season of Mist
Great Lake Swimmers - Merge, A Vessel, A Harbour
Dude - you know about the Great Lake Swimmers! You are, still, the Awesome One.

Kudos, kid, it's grey up here a-ways also.

It's sunny and about 4000 degrees up here. Capn is roasting a little more I think. I suspect it's 4015 degrees in his town. He's so hot, he's delusional and thinks his cousin was in the Alan Parsons Project.

p.s. good tunes monk.

It's been cold, dull, rainy, then sunny, then thunderstorms, then more sun, then a rainbow, then a hailstorm, then a bit more sun and now just a bit chilly.

In other words, typical UK Bank Holiday weather.

Ray Bradbury's Celsius 4015: The temprature at which you think your cousin was in the Alan Parson's Project

Ok, he wasn't in the band, but he is on a number of albums. He went by the stage name of Lenny Zakatek.

It was in the 90s and *HOT* here today, just like the weekend was. We went from unseasonably cool to ridiculously hot in about 10 days. Yeesh.

I downloaded the Great Lake Swimmers based on LT's enthusiastic reaction and the cool band name.

And it finally got sunny about 5 p.m. on the last day of the 3-day weekend.
