Snakes on a Motherfucking Plane: Last night LunaticFringe and I saw the trailer for Snakes on a Plane while waiting to watch the X-Men movie. It promises to fulfill all requirements of mass suckage.

yeah, according to the piece i read in time magazine, fulfilling all the requirements of mass suckage became the whole point of the movie. once they saw the grassroots reaction to the tentative project name, they decided to go with the flow. in fact, they were so impressed by the home-brew poster and trailer mashups they saw on the net that they have selected one or more to play as the final credits roll.

I think we should, in our own local communities, attend the premiere of this film in costume, a la Star Wars. I'm going to try to get a bunch of my friends to dress up as various Samuel Jacksons throughout history and then we're going to stand in line for days before the show.

I hope, at the end of the movie, Samuel L. says of the snakes: "Yes, they deserved to die; and I hope they burn in hell!"
