So who here doesn't know about it? [More:]Everybody knows... what I'm talking about. Don't know what I'm talking about? You don't know about the aeroplanes in America? You don't know? Somebody tell 'em! I'll tell you. Well I don't remember it all now... Two, two jets. Is that right? Two, uh, three, seven, I don't know I've lost count. (Four jets.) How many? (Four jets.) Four jets! One crashed into the Pentagon, two crashed into the World Trade Center... One got shot out of the sky by the Americans... You saying it crashed as well? So, um, that's why, you know, things are a little bit mute tonight. Sorry about that. This is called Paranoid Android.
Too soon! Too soon!

I dont know, hellbient. it's been a few years now, and sooner or later we're just going to have to stop running away from it and come to grips with the awful truth of just how overrated "OK Computer" was.

Ah yes, the show in Berlin, September 11, 2001. That whole bootleg is rather chilling.

They played their "New York song", Permanent Daylight, that night.

Actually, I'm a far bigger fan of the last three albums than I am of the first three, but the hissing is mostly on general principle.

I really suppose I should get some work done today. Sigh.

Just coincidentally: exactly one week ago and at this precise time I was standing in the Hammersmith Apollo, waiting out the last few minutes before Radiohead came onstage, which they had previously managed to do each night at pretty much 8:30 p.m., give or take a few.

The new stuff is a mixed bag, btw, some of it fragmentary and sketchy, some of it very good indeed, some of it just completely odd (the Pixes by way of surf rock) and some of it highly textural.

Yeah, work, right.

For my money, nothing they've done since tops The Bends. That said, thanks for the track!
