Bizarre! I use a digital voice recorder for work. The batteries have been running low, and as I was writing down notes from it, it went dead. But with nothing on this display and seemingly out of order, it started emitting what sounded exactly like the squeals, pops, and other strange sounds you hear on shortwave or AM radio, complete with the static and the fading in and out. So weird.

And if you play it while reading the wizard of id, everything syncs up all weird. depending on how fast you read.
