Wow-ee! Y'all posted looking for little ol' me? The cockles of my heart are so warmed. I miss you too.

Here's my story. As the ever-alert podey noted, I was in Florida and then on a tall ship until Wednesday of last week. Then I went to NJ to help coordinate an alumni event for my old summer camp, Friday-Monday. I was home last night and tonight, but tomorrow I take off for another 5 days sailing on Lake Erie. Be back next Tuesday.

So it all adds up to a strange string of commitments and opportunities too good to be passed up. But I am thinking of all of you and will likely be back at my normal level of participation in early June.

In the meantime, wow, it is lovely to sort of see that I have been missed. When it all winds down, I'll share my sea stories with you. Just haven't had much time in between these activities-- dashing home a couple days at a time to clean up after that cat, do the laundry, complete enough work to avoid getting fired, pay enough bills to avoid getting evicted/repo'ed/cut off, and back out for the next go-round.
