I got the sweetest lab report from Rupert's vet [More:]
Dr. ----’s Recommendations / Plan:

Rupert has recovered beautifully from intestinal surgery. This is a wonderful thing! Other than preventing him from eating a similar foreign body in the future, and loving him I have no further recommendations at this time.
YAY! Glad to hear it. I certainly know how it is waiting for results. Nice when it is good results. /me makes a note to self: keep Silver from eating foriegn, or domestic bodies.

He ate a foreign body? Awesome. Foreigners are our enemies!

yes, well..... preventing them from eating foreign bodies is often difficult. /me remembers the time RT ate a sausage wrapper and got it wrapped around his gut.

Yay Rupert you woolsucker! No more wool for you.

It was rubber this time. He's been able to digest all the wool without incident so far.

The idea of a dog pooping out yard after yard of wool in all the colours of the rainbow is the funniest thing I can imagine right now.

I'm glad your dog's ok.

He's a cat, but he's still OK.

I thought cats were smarter than that.
