i believe in headbutts
and the refined sensibility of cats who do

Rupert won't sit on people's laps, but he loves to sit on the couch behind my head and sleep on the bed pillow above my head when I sleep. He's a very strange cat.

My friend's cat, Sam, loved head butts. I loved him.

He also drooled on me. I get to see him in a few weeks and the other two cats as well.

My family's cat thought that my box of baseball cards in the closet was a litter box and pooped in it. She also puked in my boots once. Never headbutted me.

My cat is a headbutter. He also loves my husband's glasses and will butt them so hard they fall off his face. But his very favorite thing to do, based on the amount of time he spends doing it, is to sit on my chest, stretched out across my breasts and his head on my shoulder. He'll anchor himself to my shoulders if the angle is a bit too steep.

Oliver is a headbutter and it's very sweet when he initiates one.
