It's so unbelievably green. After college I drove from AZ to NC (with a stop in SE Ohio) and I was blown away when I drove through Appalachian country. It is the exact opposite of Arizona's landscape. It's beautiful, but ultimately it's too much for me. I love the desert.

What a beautiful place to live, mgl. I'm sooo jealous I can't make it to the Asheville meetup!

Also, didn't they film a lot of Last of the Mohicans around Asheville?
