The whole new B&S album, The Life Persuit really rocks the socks off my box of clocks (that's good).

I never requested any Belle & Sebastian! You're spreading slander against me, and it's got to stop.

The B&S reminded me of Bowie - but the songs of his that I don't like. I kind of liked it by the end, but. The Dengue Fever was cool. It reminded me of that Android Ann that someone posted here ages ago, but more musical.

So there you have it, my reviews. Overall, I'd give the two of them a combined score of 7/10.

nomis, I would never have connected B&S with Bowie, but that's an interesting take... I can sort of see it with this song. It's got that sort of rhythm Bowie used a lot in the 70s.

It could be just that song - I'd never heard any B&S previously. All that will change however, since it piqued my interest and I intend to listen to more.
