Tonight, I'm meeting Rachel Ray. Tommorow probably laundry. I'm sure I'll probably manage to squeeze in some drinking and sex as well.

(Although, apparently tommorow there's a MeFi meetup at a bar two doors down from the building where I lost my virginity. As long as they're there maybe they could put up a plaque or something)

Tonight: seeing Willy Porter and Glenn Phillips and writing a review of the show

Tomorrow: GOing in to work for a schmooze event, then cleaning out my community garden, going for a run, finishing the review, and I don't know what tomorrow night

Sunday: Shopping and packing for my trip to Key West.

I am going to Fedco Seeds to buy some garden seedlings. Boyfriend and I are also going here to pick out his puppy.

By the way, I just have to tell somebody how cool this seed company is. One of my coworkers just lost everything in a house fire, including her Fedco garden seeds. A friend of hers called Fedco, and they are pulling her order and replacing everything. Good people.

Tonight a show featuring Jon Spencer (without his Blues Explosion) and The Sadies (who were backing Neko Case on her The Tigers Have Spoken album). Tomorrow, swimming lessons with the girls, maybe buying some paint, and then breakfast at Eddie's on Sunday morning. Yup...good weekend.

Tonight: go to Enid's for a drink, and/or eat a burrito at McCarren park.
Saturday: Finish the cover to the comic (spot colors) and write up the job requirements for the printer. Then, an early drink with a friend at some place that's between us. Maybe Zebulon or the Levee.
Sunday: Brunch with my partner's friend and her new dude. Band photos for the press kit are overdue, so I'm going to try to fix that before practice.

Other than that: Chores!

My friend Owen's got an art opening at the Basement Pub. He's a damn good photographer, so I expect it will be a cut above the usual shite they have up down there.

Saturday will be a combo of building some shit with habitat, and maybe chillin and grillin at home in the evening.

Sunday, it's time to use my birthday present (gift certificate from my mom) and get some new pants!

Dancing tonight: Jeff Bennett (Poker Flat/Plastic City) & Kriece (Eukahouse/EQ Grey Ltd) @ Sullivan Room; I'll arrive late and leave even later. Tomorrow, old school video games at my bro Wally's (I think some of you met him at Antarctica oncet), then some kinda happy hour, prolly in Manhattan somewheres. The sun will shine but the river won't dry up, and the angels will rise like always, trailing smiles and unbowing heads as they ribbon their way through the cumulus.

It's 15 degrees here, and supposed to get to 21, and sunny and everything. That means me and elizard round up all the sexy people and hit Commercial Drive and drink on... patios! Mmmm. Sun, drinks and lookin' at people. Saturday's not supposed to be that good, so it'll be lounging, maybe movies. It's all about maximizing slack, dontchaknow.
Oh, and I may make vegetarian lasagne. mmm.

Tonight: mellow & nothing. Maybe watch a movie, knit. Just put the Boston butt in the crock pot for barbecue tomorrow night.
Tomorrow: Go to the herb festival, spend some of my birthday money on plants, yay.
Tomorrow night: my friend is having a combination Derby/birthday party for me.
Sunday: mellow & nothing. Drive up to Yancey County to return my son to school.

People watching. NASCAR is coming to town and I live on one of the main roads leading to the track. Hours of traffic jams, RVs, and rednecks. The across the street neighbors have people over, drink all damn day then and heckle the traffic jam people leaving the track at midnight. "NUMBER 8 SUXX" and stuff like that. Last fall, I believe they hung Dick Trickle in effigy.

Tonight - making some kabobs and hanging out with a girlfriend, maybe play some scrabble

Tomorrow - sleep in, make some international phonecalls, sweep the yard, take stuff to goodwill, then having dinner at a friend's house (with lots of booze!!)

Sunday - no idea! Laze around all day in my pajamas...catch up on emails and tivo'ed shows.

I am having a weekend full of islands.
Super freak weekend at Coney Island, and then taking a "hard hat" tour of the castle at Bannerman Island.

Plus Dia:Beacon. Plus, because it's the 7th, brunch at Sette (7) and our monthly "7-up club" (we're up to 28 Up). 7-up cake is the best.

Tomorrow: two hour staff meeting and six hours of work.
Sunday: archive research for four hours, I hope!
Also: wrap up one of two incompletes from last quarter (just have to write the introduction!), put together an abstract/bibliography/initial data for a final project, do a homework assignment, find a birthday present for my brother.

Tonight, I'm going out to dinner and hanging out w/a pal and her baby. Tomorrow, I'm working, then going out to dinner again, then meeting a coworker from another branch to have a few drinks and discuss the decision to take the library's website out of the hands of the computer-network people and put it in the hands of the public-relations people, a decision that is, in the words of Michael Jackson, ludicrous on its face. Anyway. Later Saturday night, I'm supposed to help a pal with some kind of computer hardware problem. I'm not sure about Sunday yet.
