I'm now back to report my findings. The Shake Shack is open and it is indeed awesome. I had a shack burger, fries and a vanilla shake. I waited in line for about 25 minutes - which was fine because it's gorgeous outside, I'm wearing my cool guy sunglasses and there were quite a few cute girls in the park.

And their burger reminds me of In-n-Out, but a little better. The guy preparing the orders even threw out a few that he deemed them "not fresh enough" because they had been waiting in people's to-go bags while the fries were frying.

And the vanilla shake was very good. Though, I've never met a vanilla shake I did not like.
