As a bartender, I object to the measly tipping practices she implicitly endorses in that $40 A Day show. Watch -- she'll sit at the bar ("the service is better!") ask for six extra everythings, swill her FREE water, and leave %15 to the penny. Even after the owner drops by with free apps for the lady with the camera crew. Here's how you eat out on $40 a day -- be chintzy with the service staff you just ran to death!

(For those of you who say well, 15% is the right amount to tip -- you are wrong.

BitterOldPunk, there's also the, you know, national tv coverage of the restaurant/bar. That probably helps alot more than an extra quarter on the tab.
