This should be interesting; Mexico is already the seventh or eighth most popular tourist destination in the world, and the top destination for U.S. visitors... But I guess it all depends on how things shake out whether this will actually boost those figures in the right way. If it backfires, then there will likely be a decrease in luxury visitors and an increase in small spenders.
I know it depends on the perception mostly, but how many tourists get busted anyway for the amounts being decriminalized? As I understand it, currently, it's an excuse to extract bribes and not really a prison risk.
