Summer Too Far Away? I'm hosting a blogger/flickr meetup/bbq/party on Friday, April 28 AND →[More:] a friend of mine is throwing a combined Derby Day & mygothlaundry birthday party on May 6. Y'all are invited to both these extravaganzas. Seriously. In the meantime, here is a fairly interesting although not so pretty picture of where all this meetup action takes place. And, speaking of the meetup, after looking at the wiki again, I'm thinking that one person said 7/22 is no good and one person said 8/4 is no good, but NOBODY said that 7/28 is no good, so I think maybe we should call it 7/28, a.k.a. The Last Weekend in July and have that be it. Voices? Pros, cons, comments?

That's a much bigger city than I had imagined. I just went and looked up Asheville in Wikipedia... 70k residents!

I really, really miss the Blue Ridge.

I'm down, obviously, for everything, though 4/28 is the weekend before moving weekend. MGL, I'm so glad you've been the pointbabe for the social things, as you know that I need a lil' push hither and thither to be ever more f*cking outgoing.

P.S. You might want to make some comments in this thread about how you don't think people should bring their dogs because of how neurotic your dog is, just in case they didn't see the wiki remarks thereupon.
