05 April 2006

Rain, rain, go away, dammit. Music to ward off the interminable rain we West Coasters have been suffering. Starting at 1:30 Pacific.
Seriously. If Northern California slides into the ocean, I'll have to move to Chicago. I'm beginning to suspect crazy weather making plots are underway.

Your threats seem to have worked, even without the music. It's sunny and blue skies above my apartment now.

Excellent. My little plan is working!

It's been gorgeously sunny all day here in the PNW. I'm working at home (reading a book!). I've got the shades open on the balcony window and the cats are basking in the sunspot.

The sky was deliciously gothic and threatening this morning, but, boy howdee, am I happy to see this sun.

Hmm, maybe rain songs aren't all that appropriate then...?
posted by mudpuppie 05 April | 14:45
Please listen anyway. I'm proud of this one. Please?

I'm listening! You're kindly distracting me as I edit WAY TOO MANY bios for our company's sales people! All of whom love exclamation points! Which I was about to call explanation points! Which would be awesome!

All right, darlin', your songs seem to be BRINGING the rain. :-)

But I'm loving the Dolly, so I ain't gonna complain.

I love Edie's version of this.

Occhiblu, I summoned the rain here too. So very sorry.

But at least the music fits now, eh?

(And Fris, me too. Love that song.)

Portland's been lovely for the past two days. Had a trip to the garden store for supplies and now it's planting season at casa rebirtha.

Thanks so much, 'pup. I'm glad you're proud of this set because it's easily one of the best I've heard in a long time and a wonderful soundtrack for a rare dry and sunny afternoon in anticipation of further rain.
