OMG! Kissing ... things! What are they? (Apart from enough to melt even my hard heart.)
Those are prairie dogs, I think.

i think the one is whispering secrets as the other tries to lick its eye

which is a lot like kissing

I don't know, but I think the guy on the left is whispering "Take care of him, and dump his body in the ravine".

Definitely prairie dogs. Definitely cute as heck.

prarie dogs communicate by 'kissing.' I read in in the World Book Encyclopedias my parents bought us in 1979. They also bought us those modishly orange-and-blue Funk & Wagnalls ones that you had to buy two volumes at a time at the Supermarket. That's how I got hooked on reference books, well that and those Book Of Lists and People's Almanac's that were so popular back then that were lying around the house, and the yearly Guiness Book that I used to oreder from the Weekly Reader at school. or the Book Fair. I miss the Book Fair, and the Book Mobile. And the Batmobile. But I digress. The love of reference books and my discovery of rock and roll is what turned me into such a music geek. In case you care.

It's probably saying "I don't care how horny you are, get out of my house"
