I get these little e-mail alerts from BruceSpringsteen.net, the official record label site. But I have to confess, when I open up my inbox and see "Bruce Springsteen" in the "From" column, for a split second I believe Bruce is emailing me.
That looks good. I'm on a bit of a Peggy Seeger trip at the moment (in that I'm very close to splashing my credit card details over her back catalog), and I'm amazed to discover this is music written by her brother.
Looks like modern American Folk is just as incestuous as its British half brother.
And yeah - I didn't realise how rude that parenthetical comment sounded until I reread it, but what the hey. I'll allow it.
