AskMecha: Geekery. Before my lappy died a few weeks ago, my friend had worked some kind of magic that made all of the Windows windows look exactly like Mac windows. Little else other than the desktop looked Mac-ish, but I'd love to have that thing again. Whuzzit and wherizzit?

Also, the lappy will be resurrected in a month or so, and I'll make it a Linux box. I'll have plenty of questions when that comes 'round. Thanks in advance.

One of my pals uses it, and he's kind of a cheapskate, which leads me to think that there might be a trial version or a free legacy version or something (then again, he's kind of a crook, too, so it might just be an, uh, illegitimate version).
