I just found $45 on the ground... [More:] What should I do with it?
What's a dime bag go for these days?

Take me out to dinner :-D

Isn't a dime bag, by definition, whatever ammount $10 gets you?

I thought a dime bag was a sack of weed the diameter of a dime. Which incurred the natural paradox of a nickel bag being bigger than a dime bag and more expensive.

A dime bag is, indeed, a ten dollar bag. Don't ask me how I know this.

Interesting. IRFH, you're right but it can apparently be applied to all narcotics, not just pot.

Because, truthfully, ten bucks worth of pot is about two nuggets these days. And feel free to ask me how I know this. Hehehe.

California's a great state, for a lot of reasons.

cmonkey, I'm headed to the Good Foot right now. You should come out and shoot pool and buy me beer!

I'll buy Specklet a beer, and spend the rest on wishlist gifts for MetaChatters. Then everyone wins!

The definition of a dime varies...

Usually, it's the same amount of weed that weighs the same as a dime, and coincidentally costs $10 (which is far far overpriced).

A nickle bag is the weight of a nickle, which is close to the weight of 1 gram (also, nickles are used as the counterweight on postal scales to weigh the weed) and sells for whatever the market price for 1 gram is (or 1/3rd of an 1/8th ounce - there's a slight markup as it's closer to 3.5g to 1/8th of an ounce).

It's a pain in the ass to deal in nickles and dimes.

I've never heard of coins being used as weights in reference to dime and nickle bags. It's just 10 and 5 bucks, respectively.

Isn't a penny like 3.5 grams or something? Or was that a quarter? Anyway, most coins vary in weight pretty wildly from coin to coin when you're dealing with grams and tenths of a gram. Please send me greenery, my connect flaked as usual.

Spend most of it on doing something nice for someone else. Do you know someone who's really down financially? Buy a bag of groceries, good quality things they probably wouldn't be able to afford for themselves, including a bunch of flowers, leave it outside their door, knock, run, hide, watch.

Then spend $5 on a huge DQ blizzard for yourself.

That's what I'd do, anyway.

Karma attaches to found money, is my experience.

Cmanque - if you spent any of this loot on the mysterious appearance of my Twin Atlas CD from Amazon, you are an amazing person and my gratitude will be running my nervous system for the remainder of today.

And if not, you're still as cool as a humanitarianly-inspired DQ Blizzard.
