Time sink roll call! List your favorite web-based diversions here.[More:] Shopping sites, games, music archives, come one, come all! I got a stomach bug last night & am currently home, partially clothed, barfing my guts out every half hour. Help a lady out, MetaChat!

The photography of Yann Arthus-Bertrand.

Symbols.com.

For all your DIY shopping needs.

Found this little treasure one fateful day....

Six Six Five is good reading, though the sense of humour may not be for everyone.

The recaps at Television Without Pity are great fun.

I've spent ages with the I Ching Poetry Generator.

Chordbook.com, for guitar players.

And this, more on the same topic.

God save me from Bookworm. I shudder to think of how many hours I have spent there. Jigzone is another bad one, as is the Bubble Game.

Must. Stay. Away. Me, that is, not you. You are exempt from productivity. Feel better soon!

Babble, a combination of Boggle and Scrabble that's ultimately neither.

Coudal sends me down the rabbit hole every time.

I used to play a bunch of Web Boggle because its live and head to head.

And TextTwist

And I just reinstalled Unreal Tournament 2004 Demo again and have been having a blast with the free online multiplayer mode. Hmm, maybe I'll set up a MeCha server for any other interested frag happy kids.

Oh yeah, and Thong Battle and its other affiliate sites.

Another vote for Bookworm and Text Twist. And Bejeweled and Solitaire (both Spider and traditional) are two more I play a lot.

Other than games, most of my day is spent at Metachat, AskMe and MeTa.

Livejournal.

Even more compelling, livejournal images. Without the context, the last 40 images uploaded to livejournal. It's like eating peanuts, I just sit there and hit refresh over and over, and try to imagine the story behind some of the stuff that pops up.
