I'm back! The highlight of my field trip was that I saw a Bird-dropping spider.

Until I clicked on the link, I wondered why the spiders would drop the birds, rather than just keeping & eating them, unless it were just for a little sadistic fun… They look like fascinating beasties.

that's awesome. that spider looks so cool that I hope I never see one again. (I have a thing against spiders.) hopefully one day language will have evolved in such a way that they will commonly be known as either "bird poop spiders" or "bird doody spiders."
